Mr. Matthew Killian / Assistant Principal
Assistant Principal Matthew Killian
My name is Matthew Killian, and I am excited to be joining the Northern High School community! I have been working with Guilford County Schools since 2015 as a High School English Teacher and Assistant Principal, most recently as the AP at Pleasant Garden Elementary School.
I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University at Buffalo, my Master's in Education Studies from Johns Hopkins University, and my Master's in School Administration from Western Carolina University which I received through the North Carolina Principal Fellows Program.
I have a strong belief in the success of all students, as well as helping all our graduating seniors find the right post-secondary path for them. I look forward to serving our staff, students, and families and help Northern continue its strong tradition of excellence!
