Student Tardy Policy

 

Students are encouraged to arrive at school on-time and attend all classes as scheduled to ensure the best opportunity for academic success. Students that are excessively tardy to class/es, teachers and administrators will follow the Guilford County Schools’ Student Code of Conduct for consequences. Students arriving to class late without proper documentation will be marked tardy and possibly considered skipping class. In accordance with per class attendance timeframes, students will be considered absent if they miss more than half the class period.  

 

*Timeframe for the absence is subject to change based on district policy- advisement is to check with the attendance secretary each year.
